For Immediate Release
DNP 2nd-Quarter
Sales Rise
Whittier, CA (July 6,
2007)- DNP International reported today that sales for
the second quarter ended June 30, 2007, rose 97.56 percent
compared to the same period a year ago. This increase in sales
was driven by a stronger demand for high-end products and
an increase in raw material prices due to a shortage in products
from China. Average sales per order showed a 53.9 percent
increase compared to last year.
"The second quarter of 2007 was another
outstanding quarter for DNP. We have continued to work around
the crisis regarding China's tainted products and have committed
ourselves to providing our customers with the highest quality
products and peace of mind. This commitment is reflected in
our sales for the quarter." said David Ji, DNP President.
The company anticipates prices will continue
rising on some products and expects sales will remain strong
in the second half of the year with the addition of more partners
and services.
