Head of DNP Shanghai Office Lucy Mei visits DNP Headquarters

Santa Fe Springs, CA (February 27, 2012) Lucy Mei, Head of DNP Shanghai Office and Quality Control Unit, visits DNP headquarters during February 20-24.

 Lucy Mei arrived in the US on February 19th.  She accompanied a couple of DNP’s senior sales representatives with visits to six customers in Salt Lake City. There she listened to better understand our customer’s requirements and introduce DNP’s QC policies and procedures.  The purpose of this trip was to gain a better understanding of the quality requirements of our  customers.  DNP also discussed their Core Values:  superior quality; origin consistency; continuous supply; and partnership pricing. 

 While Mei was in California at DNP headquarters, she met with DNP Chemist and Quality Manager Alice Chin. There they discussed ways to further enhance and support DNP International’s commitment to Quality:

o Detailed heavy metal testing at the DNP in-house lab
o Equipment for assay and identification testing in 2013
o Quality Control requirements for DNP’s private label products
o On-site manufacturer auditor

Mei had this to say about the trip, “It is vital that I visit our customers in the United States to continue to better understand their needs in the marketplace.  My visit with key customers enables me to hear from them directly and keep up with their day-to-day requirements, especially from a quality control perspective.  DNP always puts quality first, which is why we are the #1 nutracuetical supplier and the right choice for our customers.  DNP has always been in the forefront of the marketplace, especially with quality.  We have set up a QC unit in China and an in-house lab, with our goal of continuous improvement on details to accommodate the customer requirements. Lucy Mei is the head of DNP China Operations. She is responsible for managing all areas of overseas business for DNP. Lucy has been with the company since 2005. She previously worked for Sinochem for nearly 20 years as Business Manager for Imports. As a graduate of Heilongjiang University in Harbin, China, Lucy holds an undergraduate degree in Foreign Trade.
