SANTA
FE SPRINGS, Calif. (January 8, 2009) DNP International today reported
an 8% total increase in sales from 2007 to 2008. Spurred by solid
numbers in the first two quarters, the company was able to overcome
lower than expected figures in November and December to complete a
successful sales increase for 2008.
We are content to see our
sales increase this past year despite the ongoing U.S. recession
and credit crises challenging many businesses and companies,
said David Ji, president of DNP International. Through strategic
planning and attainable goals, our objective is to reach a higher
sales plateau in 2009.
DNPs highest sales month
increase occurred in August, when it enjoyed a near 57% increase,
followed closely by 44.32% increase in March. In its first quarter,
DNP had the highest quarterly jump in sales in relation to 2007
with a 28.41% increase. Although the company toiled through a shaky
fourth quarter, management expects to exceed its sales targets and
goals in 2009 with several new marketing plans intended for building
stronger customer relationships and regaining past accounts.
