DNP International continues its company focus despite a second quarter
decrease in sales by 9.13% in comparison with second quarter 2008.
While raw material suppliers tighten their supply, prices continue
to increase, and as government compliance maintains its presence in
the dietary supplement industry, DNP will continue to map out a positive
year-end by enhancing customer relations, company operations and advancing
quality ingredients.
DNP will focus on preparing its customers for
cGMP compliance and making sure our strategies are aligned with
our goals. We believe sales should continue to pick up in the later
part of the year and we are looking for a modest increase of 10-15%
compared to the previous year, said Lynn Chau, executive vice
president of DNP International.
Plans to strengthen key positions throughout the company
are also in the works to provide DNP customers and the marketplace
with quality ingredients and industry- compliant solutions.
