An enormous amount of possibilities and opportunities for the dietary supplement industry have become increasingly available this year. From new research and development by world-renowned institutions of nutrition and medicine, to consumers’ desires to stay healthy and avoid the doctors’ office whenever possible, it’s no wonder that 2010 is the year to take action. A recent publication by Natural Products Insider’s website reported the sales of dietary supplements were up since last year. Citing a survey from the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), an increase in consumer usage was evident and the current state of the economy had not affected the purchasing habits of adults, which was an estimated 74 percent of the surveyors. The nutritional and dietary supplement industry remains one of the top industries in the U.S. and abroad.
